Found a snake skin in my hunting camp today.don?t know how it got in.just use it in fall and winter but still don?t want it in there.is there something other than smelly moth balls I can use to keep snakes out?

If there is a skin in the cabin there is a good chance the snake could still be in there I had this happen in a house I bought I found I skin bin one of the entry ways. I bought a bunch of mouse glue traps and glued them to a piece of cardboard that covered the entire width of my step and put it under there. Right when I thought I was in the clear and dint have a snake in the house I found it on my glue trap took at least a couple of months to get him. Good luck hope you find him

For every action there is a reaction.....

And often snake oil concoctions do not work on snakes.

Going to be hard to keep them out, especially if there are mice, and most likely it's not tight enough to keep mice out.

About all you can do is try to seal it up, which is near impossible.

Still, expect to find them, it's mostly unoccupied, they will find their way in.

To us, they are an inconvenience, to them it's a matter of life and death.

I will take my chances with Lyme disease....make all the snakes disappear....and take the mosquitoes with them....

Was told that the type of lime you buy in a bag willburn their bellys and keep them away. Just spread it around where you think there is a problem like against the foundation of the building and I would go with a foot wide strip. I think after a rain you have to put fresh down. I had snakes getting in bathroom of house and by time I got the lime was winter and never got it put out but next year snake problen dissapered. The snaks were in 2 bathrooms in house.
