Dump truck with cable-operated lift. AWD AND 4-wheel steering. Never seen such a thing. Guy was just driving it around, noticed all four wheels helped steer.

One of my dads friends had one of those. He had the money and needed to have
all kinds of parts made. He finnaly got it all back together. You could trot
alongside as to how fast it went. By todays standards it would be a motorized
dump cart. A little tall when you needed to crank it. Rode like a brick.

I don't know what it had under the hood--something weird I'm sure. I'm struck by how home-made machines of this era looked. Wonder how many the factory cranked out? First one I've seen as far as I know.

Very nice oddity!

Wonder what the original purpose of the design was?

Must have been for dumping in tight places with the rear steering.

Obviously a construction truck, but sure would not like off road, as if there were many paved roads then!
