Woods finish mowers

My dad bought a woods finish mower. Got a free "parts" mower to go with it. Couple days later we bought a junker cheap and got parts off it to fix the parts mower. It works great.

My wife likes putting videos together.

I mow everything with a Super A with a Woods L59 belly mount mower, just tried the high suction blades on it that I got with a recently purchased spare deck, I LOVE these blades, I'm not using anything else from now on.

Hi, grandpa: your first picture looks a lot like me and my rig. I have a 9N with Woods RM-59. All still working ok after about 20 years in present hook-up. I notice the tractor in pic even has the optional tall air inlet, like mine! Small world...

I had a 72in Woods that I mowed with a 67 Ford 2000. Cut really well. It mowed a couple of my hats as well.

Ihave a woods L306 belly mower (6' cut) on my '42 allis C. works great, gets a big yard done in a hurry taking off 6 ft every pass

They cut good and are indestructable. Have an RM306 , still going -- was owned by a church and well-used when I bought it 20 years ago. Deck is starting to crack in places. Mower works best with all 4 wheels to get an even cut but alot of these have the front wheels missing.

I had a Woods RM-59 rear discharge deck. Because of the ground speed of the 8N everyone except me was afraid to used it (lots of trees and such that my wife won't let me cut down to mow around). Only reason I got rid of it was because of that. I went to a ZERO TURN and won't go back. But the RM-59 deck was a great cutting deck. Limiter chains and away you go!

Hi, again:
I should have mentioned that I did not like the Woods discharge chute because I kept hitting things with it. My answer was to replace the rigid chute with a rubber one, made from an old truck mudflap. some problems have pretty easy answers....
