I didnt overload,cut off tad short of 80000#

But i must ask how to cut the el0g thingy off.part is still in the truck.i carry my hand held scanner and the el0g trys to communicate to my scanner.it sends scrambled static when engine is running or key on

Follow the wires. It should plug into the computer can network, either as an extension to the diagnostic port or a dedicated plug in the dash. Just unplug it. It is only reading the messages in the system, not controlling anything.
 
Ive heard some horror storys about unhooking the unit and truck wont start,something to do with driver tampering to cheat the elog.
We are exhempt we never excede 100 miie radius of home hauling our own grain
