I just bought a round baler. the first I have had in 25 years. The neighbors have been rolling for me. It needs a little attention. Is there a quality aftermarket supplier for drive sprockets? Or should I just go to Deere? I need upper and lower and the double drive sprocket on the power shaft, as well as chains. I am going to change the pins in the belts, Can anyone tell me what kind clips these are? The belts look good to me.

Also gotta hook up the Monitor. The power cable is marked 1, 2, 3 with wires in 1 and 3. Which wire is the positive or power wire?

Those are regular JD belt clips,(a little less than $20.00) to put them your self, you can buy the kit (NOT CHEAP.) AS for getting part, I use a local Farm Store. Hope you got the manual and keep the roller free from wrap/string or any thing else. And dang that PTO shaft is a pain.

Good luck. A lot of folks here will help. My experience is kindly on the short side.

I would get Deere sprockets and as far as chain the best is Diamond and second is Drives. Do not use china junk chain or you will wear your new sprockets. Looks like a good baler. We had a new Deere 335 and baled thousands of bales with it. Only reason we sold it was we wanted net wrap, oversized pickup and we also got a cutter for tough corn stalks. Tom

Belt lacings in photo are made by Mato. Info on soe of the sprockets is as follows. AFH205819 from JD is $232.72 from A&I $145.39 from All States parts $137.00.AFH205819 from JD is $73.73, from A&I is $55.46,from ASP is $49.00. AFH205815 from JD is $116.63 ,from A&I is $83.99, ASP is $89.00. It wouldn't surprise me if all the parts originated from the very same parts supplier with the same quality.
