LOOKING FOR PARTS

I HAVE A MASSEY FERGUSON 1045 TRACTOR. I NEED BOTH REAR WHEEL SEALS, THEY WERE DESTROYED WHEN SOMEONE ELSE DISMANTLED THE DIFFERENTIAL. (I PURCHASED THE TRACTOR APART FOR $50.00). I WAS ABLE TO FIND THE PLANETARY GEAR SET FROM CROSS CREEK TRACTORS, BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE NEW SEALS.
THE MASSEY FERGUSON PART NUMBER I HAVE FOR THE SEALS IS 3436769M1. PLEASE IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS TRACTOR AND I SEEMS I AM NOT ALONE WITH THIS. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A 1045. I AM NOT A TRACTOR GUY UNTIL NOW.

These people have the part as do others. Just Google the part number

I would guess that the seal was not unique to only that tractor.
Measure it up and search for them by shaft size. Which will lead you to charts of every seal made for that size shaft.

Toyosha built the seal may be the same as something like an Allis Chalmers 5030 although your MF is a little larger tractor.

I TOOK THE SEAL THAT WAS MOSTLY INTACT TO MY LOCAL NAPA DEALER, BUT THEY COULD NOT COME UP WITH ANYTHING. I ALSO GAVE THEM THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS.

I SPOKE TO THESE GUYS TODAY ON THE PHONE AND GOT THE ROYAL RUN-A-ROUND. MAYBE YOU COULD TELL ME THE SECRET OF WORKING WITH THESE GUYS. THEY DON'T SEEM TO WANT TO SELL ANYTHING.

Is there an industrial bearing house near you? Those places are often better at matching up seals and bearings than auto parts stores as their field of access is wider.

Try giving Sandy Lake Implement a call. They do a lot with Allis Chalmers maybe they have a way to get info on the seals through AGCO.

Also no need to SHOUT, people are trying to help you.

Most likely they are Metric Seals. Usually they are just given
by dimensions; e.g. 45x70x12.

Post up the dimensions!
I had to do a cross reference and then a search by size to come up with seals for mower deck spindles last month.
OEM said no longer available.
Same size seal was found for $2 each else where.
Some times OEM's stop carrying off the shelf parts cause they can not afford to keep them in stock due to being under priced by everyone else.

Contact McFarlanes' in Saulk City, Wisconsin at 608-557-7034. They show to have 1 in stock. Obsolete parts depot has had the seals in the past but don't show any in stock.
