For sale about hour and half from me, owner asking $2995, says it runs good, no smoke, needs battery and cylinders need rebuilding, evidently losing hydraulic fluid, all comments are welcome, I?m looking for a cheap loader tractor, I don?t necessarily like the style of front bucket on this one, I?ll post pics in a minute

I can go see and hear it run, just thought you were going to elaborate on maybe why to steer away from this model

It is just too much for the need to fix. The cleaning and replacement of grill and ? will cost some. Fixing the leaky cylinder/s 2000 if it just starts and runs great. Needing a battery, (he/she needs to make it start/run/charge. and give 800 off for the jydraulic issue. Jim for that money

They were nice handling tractors and had all the features of the time. Like CASE tractors of the time, they were distinctive in color and styling, and were able to out preform the more popular brands of the time .

Looks like the front wheels kinda are wide at bottom.spindles might be bad . And shifting a mm on a loader is no easy feat if that shifter is least bit worn.
Id run away

As for a loader tractor it would also need power steering. that would be a real deal breaker for me.

Back in high school we had one in the school forestry plot. That thing would run faster than anyone had the nerve to run it. We were told it came from an Air Force base. What ever that had to do with the top speed.

Anyway keep us posted on how it works out. Be sure to post pictures while it's still on the trailer.

I agree with Janicholson. 2,000-2,200 if everything else checks out ok. Resealing the loader cylinders isn't too terrible if you can do it yourself and the rods aren't all scored up or anything. Tires look ok and it has a 3pt so it's got that going for it.

Looks like a Farmhand bucket, I noticed that the loader has a big scab plate welded on each side. Front axle looks as though it has been tested. As someone else posted a loader needs power steering. And that model may have it. Moline sure was ahead for its time on many things. I guess it depends on what your need for a loader is. Looks like some nice rear tires!

I agree with the others, he should be around $2,000 for that rig in that condition. Loader bucket is narrower than the wheel width, making it pretty useless for leveling or ground work.

Yeah I?m gonna pass on it, not the kind of bucket I?m looking for, just wanted some opinions. Tractor could probably be bought for a lot less
