Did you see the story where a fellow in Nevada was found under his jeep? Authorities think he was working under it when the earthquake hit - and it rocked it off the supports onto him.

Sure a pretty sad deal.

As much as I'm sliding around under vehicles - I sure try never to rely on jacks or stands.

Usually, since I've got a wheel off at the time anyway - I'll slide a wheel under the vehicle with a block or two as needed for a super stable extra support in case something happens.

That's bad all right. A long time ago I was under a ford station wagon removing the gas tank. I don't remember why it started rolling fore ward off the blocks. I made a speedy retreat out from under the car. I usually am working by my self most of the time. I would have been missed when I didn't show up for dinner. Stan
 
Well, seems like a lot of folks on here think the only people who get called down are the conservative patriots. They sometimes even imply that the folks that run this site give room for those folks that are a little to what they perceive as the left. They cry and complain that they are unfairly treated here. I believe I know that is not correct. The good folks on this forum struggle to retain order in chaos. For those guys like some who feel differently I can only say stick around and watch me violate some rule and I will be kicked off. None of us are or should be special.
 
Well I was not crying or complaining. I simply made a comment on observations I have made. I made no comment to any political party. Nor was I aiming my comments at any political party. Don't know why you even brought politics into it. My comment had NOTHING to do with politics. The post had nothing to do with politics.
 
I have been. But to assume anyone who has and thereafter every post they make is politically motivated is quite ridiculous. I guess you just assumed my reply was politically motivated. I assure you it was not.
 
Well who did you mean as ' selective ' Don't answer if you don't want. I am only having a little fun. Adironback Case Guy gave my butt big chewing once, but I don't learn.
 
Sure I will answer. First of all again I assure you it was not meant towards a political party!!! I just see no rhyme or reason why some people get called out for a post like we are taking about. Perfect example is not but a short time later someone else posted a non "tractor" post and nothing was said. I also want to make it clear my comment was not aimed at Adirondack case guy! I don't want to be at odds with you or anyone on here!!! I really enjoy this site! We all seem to have fun and have farm and tractors in our blood. I think there are great and very knowledgeable folks here. I have learned and been helped so much on this site.
 
Well, you have my sincere apology, I have been battered and abused [ not that I mind it ] on here until I must be a victim of paranoia.
