Anyone have had issue with slow shipping from YT? I placed a order for filters, hoses,steering parts ect. last Friday. This week, I have only received a top hose. Yesterday I got a notice from UPS that I have a package coming to be delivered next Friday.
Is this the norm?
 
I ordered a starter on a Monday received it the next week on a Wednesday, they told be that ups was really backed up
 
YT does good on shipping. Ordering stuff during the July 4th holiday week is just barely better than Christmas week. We all do it don't get carried away expecting mirical's.
 
Yes. I have been buying from YT for years. Never been an issue until the past 6 months. Every order I have made took a very long time to get here. Last order was a sediment bowl for a Ford NAA and it took 8 days to get here. I got sick of waiting and bought one locally before the YT part arrived. This was over a week ago. Nothing to do with the 4th of July. I was thinking they had changed the way the are packing and shipping or doing something different. Note I am in northern Michigan. Maybe people located elsewhere do better? That said, I have even been ordering stuff from California and it gets here faster then YT parts have been lately.
 
Like most online parts houses, the parts are shipped from different locations. Some of the parts are drop shipped direct from a secondary suppler. It may not be under YT's direct control. That has been my experience

It is the 4th of July weekend that is the problem. Most of the time i can order something from O'Reilly's and have it in 24---------48 hours but this week it has been a week to get a caliber for my car. Holidays mess up thing big time
 
I have ordered parts from "YT" ....March, of 2016,17,18,19....

All Parts arrived at our winter residence in Arizona with in 4 days every time and a Tracking Number was e-mailed to me....

Each order was from $800.00 + > $1,500.00 + ...

Bob...Great service and all parts fit properly..
 
Going to be wintering in AZ starting this coming January, will be an all new experience for us. Starting to wonder what I will do with my time with all of my projects still back in Ohio.
 
Hope it's just the holiday. They do have good prices but I need the parts quicker than two weeks.

That's one reason we don't go anywhere during the winter. That's usually the only time I get to work on my stuff.
 
No but I do have an issue with their rates on parts ... how does a 4 lb. part in a small box($25) equal the same rate as 2 boxes that total
14 lbs($25) ????

Amen brother! I order stuff from China and India and I get a tracking number. My guess is YT doesn't actually have a bit of what they advertise in hand and it all comes from a 3rd party, or probably, parties and that why we can't get a tracking number.
