Finally got the leaky gas tank of the crawler several days back. Got it cleaned off and epoxied yesterday morning. Put a new tie rod assembly on the 1650 yesterday morning. (caught my shirt on fire torching off the old one) (smile) That's okay, I am running low on grease rags anyway. However I ate about a weeks worth of food the last couple of days and stayed up until midnight last night between watching fireworks and watching the end of an extra innings ball game. Don't think I am going to do much of anything but laze around like an old tomcat today. Dozed off for a couple of catnaps already today and just might do it again. Got company coming later today to watch the Yankees/Tampa Bay game, so I just might go feed the chickens and call it a day. Best thing about retirement. If I don't want to do it today, I don't have to do it today, AND I don't want to do it today. (chuckle)

I was thinking the same thing today. Have been doing a little every day on a fence I'm building, but just don't feel like it today. Think I'll go fishing!

And hot enough to fry eggs too. I have to go put the disc harrow on the tractor... well...maybe later! the brush mower is on the other tractor waiting for me...... well....maybe later. Yep, retirement suits me.

All that work and energy you guys are talking about is making me tired...and I just woke up from a nap. It is 1:50PM.
I went to a tractor club show this morning in Port Hope, Mich. Walked my legs off. It would have been nice to have had my golf cart there. It was a small show but spread out over about 10 acres.
We are at a hotel in Bad Axe, Mich getting ready to go to BIL BD party at 4 in Caseville, Mich. He will be 80, a retired Detroit cop, 1962-1987.
I'll be tired again by 9pm.
