My mom has been against my dad getting a tractor. He has been here 3 times in last 10 days helping us work on it. It's about 90 miles round-trip for him. Momma came with him yesterday and we caught her helping put the hood back on! She wanted to know if we can get the tractor to their house next week! Took a while but we wore her down.

Ya know I consider my tractors very therapeutic!!! When I am on one of my tractors or working on one I am very relaxed and stress just seems to melt away!

All the photos you have posted, sure seems like he's enjoying working on them, why "fight city hall" ? LOL ! I can see the next part of this with her claiming one of these N's you have gathered up. At least in running condition, vs how you got them, better chance they'll avoid the scrap yard.

John, me too. Love working on them down in the barn. ...but when I have to work on a truck or car ,whole different story. I hate,hate hate working on my truck. Maybe because if it's down I'm out of work? Dunno what the difference is.

Did you by chance inspect the HYRDAULIC PUMP and Differential cases for RUST and or other Contamination?

The reason I'm asking...I had to clean the above compartments on my resent 2-N purchase, as my 2-N had not ran or moved for over 30 years...

Momma is coming around or is she caving in to the will of her husband's happiness??
Whole different mindset of these pre bra burning women that we do not understand today.

Not for you to answer here but just something to think about.
Why is she against the tractor in the first place??
Is she afraid your dad will hurt himself with it??

The old lady across the street from me was against here husband getting a small mower tractor but she caved in and let him.
Lets just say she lived to regret that day.

Bob, the fluid was sorta orange and had water in it. Time to pull lift cover and clean!!! Was working when JWA parked it 4-5 years ago.

Ya know I never thought about it but you are right. I always feel better when it's running and I'm sitting on it and everything is working as it should. Of course if something should stop working I turn into Mr Hyde.
