24t twine guides?

Found these wire attachments on my parts baler. Always wondered if they were necessary or would improve the knots. Guess they are twine guides. Thinking of moving them to my good baler.

They kinda go around the hay dogs in the picture.

NOT sure what you've got going on that your "parts baler" would have them and not your "good baler"?

Part number E14722E, "twine finger" was used throughout the production run of the 24T balers, ALL 24T's should have them.

Your "good baler" wouldn't happen to be a 14T, would it?

Each part is absolutely required to make a knot correctly.

The good baler is definitely a 24t. It has baled very good without them. I will add them to my good 24t and see if it makes any difference. I made about 2000 bales without missing a knot so no problems there.
