Borrowed my favorite oldest
son my trailer last year and
he has been using it since.
Well he finally bought his
own, so he brought mine back
today, he also brought me this
as a thank you.

I couldn't believe it. I had
been thinking about upgrading
my boxes because they are so
worn out, but didn't want to
spend the money. I was at
Menards with him once and
stopped to look at them, which
is where he got the idea. Even
had time to move everything
over and move the old boxes
out.

It's amazing how much crap you
can get in a box like that.
Lol, no wonder the drawers
were worn out. Everything fit
nicely into the new box with
space left over.

Guess now I'll have to put him
back in the will. Lol.

That is super nice. Talking about tools in drawers. Many years ago my dad worked part time at a dealership. There was a guy who was an increadable mechanic but something he would do everyday just burnned my dad up. Half an hour before go home time this guy would stop working and start putting his tools away. He didn't just put his beautiful snap-on shiney tools away,,,he would clean and shine every single tool before he put it on the cousion drawer linner in his roll around box. At five everyone clocked out and my dad was just starting to throw tools in his cabinet and wash up. He just couldn't get a handle on it. I would just laugh at him.

Thats a nice one! Wife bought me one like that for Christmas last year. I took 2 or 3 others and put everything into in. I still am opening every drawer trying to find what i'm looking for!

Many years ago, the neighbor at the bottom of the hill, ran a small business in a shop that he expanded from a 2 car garage, a rather nice addition. The shop itself was kept pristine, same with his tools. This guy was a former employee of G.E., apparently had patents from his time there and was guarded during WWII from what I have been told. He had some incredible things of the past displayed in this shop, one being a G.E gasoline engine powered generator set for a lift bridge over the Hudson River. All kinds of other things, always saw him at the fair with a hit & miss engine shelling corn etc. His wife worked beside him, cleaning the tools as he used them, painting what needed it, always keeping everything in a meticulous manner. They lived in the house which I find out was built in 1931, since it was new and the fireplace was never even used, looks new to this day. He repaired small engines, lawnmowers etc, and before any of that entered his shop, it had to be cleaned thoroughly. Ironically, his wife sold Sherwin-Williams paint if I recall the brand, she ran that side of it, he the other. Never had any children, and really did not stray that much from this, like taking a trip, vacation etc. Very nice and pleasant people. I'm actually pursuing the acquisition of this place, the thing about the tools is what reminded me of this. I'll have to dig out the photos from the auction some interesting stuff he had for sure.

Great son,hey i clean every tool i use every time i put them up.was told dirty tools tossed in boxes shows dirty shoddy work.clean proerly stored tools with wear showing shows good quality repairs

Nice looking box, didn't know Menards sold them, they have a store about 50 miles from me but hardly ever go there.

I bought two bottom cabinets from HF and cut them up.
Still trying to get everything organized.
