My take on RPRU in Bloomsburg

If anyone thinks they are too busy to get to a show of this caliber you should reconsider. I guess travel is a big factor, I was lucky for this one because I could get to Bloomsburg in 2and a half hours. Next one in S.D. I'll probably be to busy. I can't imagine how many loads it took to get such a showing of tractors, parts and equipment to Bloom, but I am sure glad they did. I took my French C down but got there late so it was displayed in the parking lot. Thank you Adrian for the info on it but I didn't cross paths with you Saturday. The indoors venders were great and I hope they all did well. On a note, small world I saw tractors from Dighton Mass. (very interesting Diesal Cub with a hydro) and Evan and I work an auction there 3 or 4 times a year! When we left Sat it looked like quite a storm brewing. Fairgrounds makes for a very nice setting for the event. Here's some pictures.

I was lucky enough the show came to PA and was only 3 1/2 hours from my house. It was a great show and you can tell it took a lot of work to put it together. We all need to thank the IH chapter there for the job they did.

It was in my part of Minnesota a number of years ago, only 45 minutes away.

I hadn?t heard of it, didn?t know what it was. Friend of mine asked if I would go with him to some tractor show......

Wow. That was cool. I sure enjoyed it back then!

Fred, Even though you arrived late I don't understand why you displayed in the parking lot. As an exhibitor I too greatly enjoyed the show and thank all the hard working people who made it a success. The fork lift operators were great to work with unloading and then re-loading some of my stuff. They even pumped up a trailer tire for me before we left for home late Saturday morning. Kudos to the exhibitors who spent countless hours getting their tractor/implement/etc. ready for the show. And kudos to the vendors who assisted us in our passion/obsession/addiction.

I went to the one in Madison Wi. eight or ten years ago, about an hour north of me. Lots of cool stuff to look at and bought some parts.

My wife and I have been going most of the last ten years. They are a great show and there is so much to learn at them. The speakers have been great. A few years ago when we learned that it was going to be in PA my wife did not ask if we could go, she said "we are going". These show makes for great vacations. This year we were able to take in Gettysburg and Hershey. It was a great vacation. The only hard part is going back to work. Thanks to all of the people that put this show on. A few years back we hosted in Wisconsin and we know what it takes to put on a show like this. Thanks again.

I drove truck one winter hauling tractor cabs for Hiniker co. Drove a GMC astro. When the turbo went out on that Detroit they put me in a Transtar with a 903 Cummins. Made about 5 trips out East with it. I liked that truck so much better then the Astro. Was disappointed when they had mine ready to go again.
