Well I am going to put the wrenches away for a few days and head to the Black Hills of South Dakota -- three other couples and My wife and I have a cabin rented till Monday -- Going to do some sight seeing - fishing - 4 wheeling and of course eating-- first night is beef rib-eye and beer-garlic bread with a couple of wiskey chasers -- cant wait !!see Ya next week!! Yay! You can easily spend a whole day in Deadwood. Very neat place and cheap.

Have fun! Great 4wheeling out there, but watch out for the cattle on the trail especially the bulls. I know from experiece.

please be careful on those 4 wheelers, newlywed couple friends of ours went did the wheeler thing, she never made it back, was a short marriage and rough. be careful on those, happened in 2018

Go to the Alpine Inn in Hill City for their steak dinner. It is like $12 (might be more now). Line starts to form about a 1/2 hour before they open. Not sure when the Sturgis Rally is but if it falls in the same time it will be a long wait. If you can hike go to Harney Peak (now called Black Elk Peak). You hike up from Sylvan Lake. Awesome sights if you are in shape for the hike.
