Pasture Sunset

Beautiful quiet evening. I should have been out finishing up my last field of weed spraying but it had been windy and threatening thunderstorms. So I sat on the old Red River Special thresher out in the pasture for a while watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of the cows chewing on the green grass. Took a picture or two of course.

Did you happen to notice where on the horizon you saw such? Have you noticed just where on the horizon the sun comes up? Do you remember years back where you saw such on the horizon?

This photo is a panoramic shot which distorts things a bit. That thresher is to the South of me and the right side of the photo is pretty much looking straight West.
This one is shot with a normal lens setting and does not cover such a wide range.

Thanks for the "picture-perfect" picture. As I've said before, You have a natural talent for photoing and videoing. I always take a look when the handle is Rusty6. Is there any significance to the 6 in your handle?

Thanks Ron. The handle is not too significant. I think I put it together with a combination of old trucks and sixties "Star Trek" tv. :)
 
I agree with 50/50 Ron. I am kind of a lurker here but when I see rusty6 I read and watch all your videos. Really like to see the winter months when you are feeding/tending to the livestock.
Rusty6 Keep them pictures/videos coming.
