Can you put ice melt salt on a fence row to the grass? Basically kill everything growing? Thank you

For 2 reasons --NO
1} it will disrupt the growth, but not kill all of it unless it is so heavy that it literally covers the ground like snow.
2} It is water soluble, and will leach into ground water, and fields. Jim

Spray the Pramitol in a narrower band than you want because it spreads out.

The salt will make the fence posts deteriorate faster. Salt will rot wood and you know what it does to metal.

1 gallon apple cider vinegar, 1 cup salt, 1 tablespoon dish soap. Works good.

We use common, ordinary table salt on our asparagus beds. Controls the grass and weeds quite well. It does not seem to leach into the soil and cause grass to die anywhere else.

I wouldn't because I can't control it's movement and it is a proven fact that it is bad for vegitation.......as a fact since that is what you are attempting to do with it. I even had my salt blocks for my cattle up in proper weather protected feeders.
