1994 Silverado tail light lens??

Recently bought a 1994 Siverado that looks like it was tarted-up w/spcl package: funky chrome wheels a roller-shade type of bed cover. But the big puzzle is how to remove the barred plastic covers off the tail lights...I want the fullest brake/tail lights possible.

The plastic mask has no screws and it apparently covers all the lens screws underneath. How could replacement bulbs ever be installed?

I will eventually try prying the masks off but did not want to damage the original lens (if original). Anybody ever work on one of these?

The lenses don't come off, they are permanently attached to the light assembly.

The lamps are in the back side, accessible once the assembly is removed as MSM described.

How the aftermarket covers are attached, well I'm not sure. The entire assembly may have been changed. Once the assembly is removed, it should be obvious if the cover is removable, but the lens itself is not.

Yes, once screws are out you grasp the taillight and swing it away from tailgate as you pull it like opening a door.
The outside edge has a plastic hook of sorts holding the tail light to the outer bedside metal.I
The aftermarket lens cover is most likely held on with double side foam tape. So just pull on the edge slowly and the tape will yield.
