Best tractor museum or factory tour

On our way back from vacation, we'll have an extra day and we're looking for something tractor related such as a museum or factory tour. We'll be driving across I80 or possibly dropping down to I70, so something in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas or Illinois would work.
Does anyone have any recommendations about which ones are enjoyable and/or which ones to avoid.
We have a preference of tractors that are not painted green.
 
Been a very long since I was there but:
One of Nebraska's leading attractions, the Harold Warp Pioneer Village is a short 10-minute drive south of I-80 exit 279. The Pioneer Village is often described as the "Smithsonian of the Plains"
When I was there, lots of tractors, steam engines, cars. and trucks.
 
Sorta out of your way, but we've enjoyed the Massey Ferguson tour in Hesston Kansas [call ahead] and the National Ag. Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs MO.
 
All green tractors? IF your OK with Oliver green

I agree that Pioneer village in Minden, Nebraska is fantastic. It has a large collection of farm machinery. But it also has 10,001 other things. If you want to see it all, it may take a day.

Well worth the stop.
 
Meinhardt equipment in Wamego Ks has a "museum". It's a bunch of older unique equipment parked in the lot next door to Meinhardts. It's growing up in grass and weeds last year when I was out there for a sale.
 
Pioneer Village was the best place for me, but a couple years ago we went again and since they donated it to the state it?s not nearly as nice as it was. Still very interesting just not as clean and as friendly as it was.
 
google Lester F. Larsen Test and Tractor Museum. I believe over 40 tractors & history of tractor testing at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. This is where official tractor testing started and is recognized world wide.
