It was an awful spring,I?m not sure how bad it really is in large corn and bean/grain belts but there?s a lot of fear mongering on the internet about a food shortage for next year. Planting in eastern Canada was about 3 weeks behind

In the USA a field corn crop failure might create an ethanol shortage before it would cause a food shortage.

Good for the Ethanol Shortage. Might finally have clean gas to run autos and other equipment that suffers from the sludge created by corn which doesn't burn just jams up the equipment.

I don't know where your ethanol is produced but I have been using it for over 25 years and I have NEVER had a problem with the fuel even after sitting over winter. I use it in 2 and 4 cycle engines as well as my motorcycle(BMW) and all vehicles. I had about 280,000 miles on my car and fuel filter was as clean as a new one.
