I think I see a seat looking through the wheel spokes. Could have been a stand up model.

I still don't understand their logic with the front wheel drive. Looks like it would seriously lack traction and steering ability.

That's the way it was explained to me at the Allis Chalmers museum.
One AC version had removable rear wheels used to move it around.
They could then be removed when a horse drawn implement required doing so.
I have yet to figure out which implements would require removal of the wheels.
