I have a 1982 Ford tw15 and one of the warning lights is on can you tell me what they are and what they mean? Thank you in advance!

There's more than one warning light, witch one is staying on?
Not sure about your TW15 but my 6610 has at lease 3 warning lights.
Low oil pressure, charging indicator, air filter restriction.
The lights have symbols in them to indicate what they represent.

It has 4 warning lights this one is a gear with a droplet in it and the light is red (not that it changes anything). It only comes on when the key is on but not running as soon as you start it the key goes away... I have checked the engine oil and the transmission and they are full. I am thinking that it might be fuel? But I don't know

I'm confused,, they should ALL come on when key is on, and not running....

And if they all come on when key turned on, and then go out when the engine is running, then everything is GOOD... why would you check levels?????

BUt.. the droplet over a gear is some kind of Lubrication warning. Either oil pressure or maybe transmission pressure.

That's a low oil pressure warning light, it should come on with the key on and engine not running, once the engine starts and oil pressure increases the light should go out.
If that light comes on while the engines running you need to shut the engine down FAST.

You need to find a operators manual for your tractor.

That tractor could have an transmission oil temperature light that comes on when the trans oil temps reached 235 degrees. The switch is located in the hydraulic pump cover.

ALSO

That tractor has an low pressure circuit transmission oil pressure warning switch that operators when the transmission oil pressure drops below127 lbs. This switch is in the dual power line at upper right edge of transmission housing.
(taken out of IT manual covering several models)

So.. I'm guessing the gear/droplet is a transmission related warning on one of the two systems check wiring to sender units for shorts grounds etc... the temp switch only grounds in over heat, the pressure switch grounds when low pressure..

I am not sure if this changes anything but it is almost completely out of Diesel.... I will fill it and see if the light goes away. I will keep you posted
