The Mahindra 6000 is tryign to hurt me

So I spent a couple hours in the shop today working on the Mahindra 6000. I was putting on the left rear tire. I had to raise the left side up a bit more and got it to the point I could get 4 out of 8 lug nuts to start. Tried to raise it a bit more when all at once it fell off the 2 jacks. But that is why I always have the chain hoists set up as a safety so if things like that happen it can not fall very far. Oh well at least the tire and fender is on, on that side
 
i wish i had a chain hoist when iwas a young and stupid teenager. put an oil pump in a 67 catalina. to get the oil pan back on, you had to jack the engine up and slowly turn the crankshaft to clear the journals. had the car up on a pair of hd jack stands and blocks on the motor mounts. dont know what or how it happened but the car fell off the stands and i was directly under the front cross member. broke a bunch of ribs. it happens so fast and no warning at all.
 
Learned years ago to have a back up for a jack or jack stand or what ever you have on a jack or other such thing. Spent a week in the hospital due to a car falling on me so learned to do things and have a back up for what ever is holding things up
 
BTDT and back in the early 80s I had to work on the Buick century. It had an exhaust leak so to make it easy to get under I used the front end loader on the Ford 841S to lift it up. Big mistake the bucket hyds bled off and drop the car on me and I spent a week in the hospital with bruised kidneys. Learn to use over kill when working under things. My shop has an I-beam running the length of it and 3 chain hoists on trolleys and 2 others I can move as needed. Plus of course a number of jacks of many types
 
After that happened I did what I had to, to jack it back up where it needed to be and came in for the day and will go back at it tomorrow
