I had some washes in my CRP that needed fixed. I took the field cultivator and ran over all of them crossways 2 times. Then the big one got some attention from the 1850 and Waldon blade. Before I could seed it, we had a month of rain, so I had to use the blade to push dirt back up the hill on the worst ones and just disked the rest. I rented a drill from SCS and they recommended setting it at 1/2 the rate and going over it 2 times for uniform coverage. FSA will cost share seed, prep and planting. I have about 5 hours with the field cultivator and disk 2 1/2 hours with the blade and 6 1/2 hours seeding. What is a reasonable rate to charge myself for use of equipment for this? SCS guessed it at 3 acres all added together. The seed cost $840 plus 5 bags of oats and 1 bag of cocao hull mulch to mix with the seed. Any ideas for an amount to turn in for my time and machinery? Thanks, Chris
