Long day yesterday, but had a great time. Up at 3am ,hit the road around 5. 280 miles later , around 10am we arrived at JWA's place in TN. Spent a few hours visiting with him and his wife. Super nice folks. And a beautiful place. After seeing his garden I may stop posting pictures of ours! Lol. Reason we went was he had contacted me last week about our smoking 8n and said he had a couple N's sitting around and if we would pull a trailer up there we could have em! Now my wife had just said I needed to stop buying tractors.....but she didn't mention free ones!! Can't wait to get em in the barn and see what we can do with them. He also gave the boys a mini bike , which they managed to get crunk up and ran all over the place. Trip home took 7 hours. Stopped to eat and spent some time at Rural King. After 10 pm when we got home. Great day. Always enjoy meeting good folks! Thanks again for everything.

Odd happening of the trip. We were at least an hour past Tracy Brown's place in MS almost to the TN line and there was a JD spraying some weeds in a driveway ......I laughed and said wouldn't it be funny if that was Tracy?!? 2 minutes later I got a text saying y'all just passed me!!!!! Small world, sure enough it was him.

He is a very good fellow and his place and gardens are nice. I bought a 501 mower from him a couple of years ago. You were close to me as I live in Memphis but I'm from Fayette county. JWA are you quitting or just down sizing? What else you got to get rid of if anything.

Glad ya'll made it home ok. We really enjoyed meeting ya'll and the visit, you're welcome to stop by anytime you're up this way. Glad to see the old tractors go to a good home. Although I'm not sure the mini-bike will get much use Ha Ha. I'll give some thought to the implements.

Danny, just getting to the age to start thinning out a little. Not sure about anything else right now but I'll keep you in mind.

Beautiful place, really live the old rusty barn. The first bike rider in video looked like Awful Knawful riding, figured he was gonna get some speed up and jump two N tractors, you let me down Grandpa, lol...

looks like we are going to have to put an embargo on these Alabama boys coming to Tennessee and getting all this good stuff.. LOL Glad you had a good trip.

i had a day that was a little longer,..i left the house this morn. at 2;30 AM, to look at a piece of property in jelico tn. just got home 4;10 PM. didn't keep track of miles but probably close to 700. makes for a tired butt....
