Yes sir lol back in the day when impaired driving was more socially accepted in this area I heard of a young fella that relocated his washer fluid hose to inside his car and kept rum in the reservoir.

Waaay back when I was going into the DMV to take my paper-and-pencil CDL test, I was told that I needed to know what an air brake wig-wag warning system was. I looked dumbfounded and I luckily researched it, because the question actually did show up on the test.

Those are parking brakes, red for trailer yellow for tractor. Technically the red is the air supply for the trailer and dumping that sets the brakes, so it is not technically a parking brake as such.

John, thank you for that. Here in Europe, the trailer parking brake is actually on the trailer, and only used when the trailer is detached from the truck. Setting the truck brake applies all brakes on both truck and trailer and is usually a lever on the dashboard, not a coloured knob. Phil

back when I started driving there where 3 knobs one was blue it was called a California brake , it would only set the tractor , so you did not have to hold pressure on the trailer brake button and pull the yellow out , it was used on local freight trucks where a guy made a lot of stops , out here the wig wags where generally used on log trucks
