Fordson Super Major 1960 to 1963. Mine does not look like this one, it is still in the
nettles.

This one looks like it has the 1952 - 1954 rounded air cleaner intake instead of the cone
shaped one.

Hi Majorman, I have a 1959 Power Major in the nettles. My August 1956 Diesel Major witch my Uncle bought new has a round top air cleaner from new. MJ

Hi, we had one before 1960. It was a very good tractor. I
still have the jack for it around here somewhere

Yep, some one put one from an older model on it.

Hi MJ, They changed the air cleaner design in 1954/55 at the introduction of the"Modified Engine", the one with the breather on the timing cover and the inclined injection pump. They also stopped putting the intake under the bonnet at the same time. Yours could be just on the change or they were using up stock.
