I never got a email saying my posts were being answered sorry . so i figures i would post it ah=gain and provide more info , I have a massey ferguson that had a mid western backhoe attached to it , i want to know the year , make , and model and where to find parts .

I can see the MF emblem on the front of the tractor, but the operator's area doesn't look like any Massey Ferguson I have ever seen. Maybe you have a Frankentractor.

The operators platform is definitely Massey Harris

Does the tractor have a cast iron frame that the engine sits in and the front axle mounts to?

It's a Massey Ferguson 303 workbull with a MF/Davis model 500 loader. The backhoe is a Davis, but I'm not sure of the model number.

I have seen a 303 Workbull, a big Massey collector not fsr from here has one.Massey Harris Ferguson Work Bull tractors wre Massey Harris tractors in the period from 1956 - 1958 and were styled like the 333, 444, and 555 tractors. The Massey Harris 303 workbull is rated at 42 belt horsepower. Here are some of the specs:

Wheelbase in. 85.5
weight gasoline/diesel 5260/5410
gears 5f + 1r

Its a Massey, dad's first backhoe was same kind. big old clunky machine but did the job for years.

The backhoe section looks like a MF220 model.
