Picked this up today. Cheap. Motor is stuck. Transmission only goes in 1st and reverse. 4 gallons of water in oil pan. It has tons of good parts. Hydraulics! Could I add that to my '39? Were hydraulics an option on. '39? Tires all hold air,and ain't terrible. Was going to order a sediment bowl for mine, now I have one!

Maybe a '53?

Getting hyd should be an unbolt/rebolt. You can take the entire pto/hyd/pulley unit off and bolt onto your "39. Too bad you didn"t get this tractor when you did the engine work, but you can still switch the torque tube/flywheel/starter to get electric start. I picked up the same things to get elec start on my son"s B...foot brakes too!

Guess you should have waited a bit longer for the new rims and tire for the other B. Yes hyds could be ordered back in 39 but being it was the end of the depression many did not have the $$ so many did not have them. Simple as remove cover and bolt on pump. As for locked up are the cylinders dry or full of water?? If full of water only way to fix is new sleeves and pistons and rings
