TW 35 weight

The tractordata lists the weight at 13,000 and some pounds. Does that include the wheel weights and the front end weights and the fuel? I estimate the wheel weights at 3000 pounds and there are 16 weights on the front that I assume are 100 pounds each.

I would say no. Appears it doesn't even include the cab.

Probably a bare bones weight, no weights, duals, loader, or fuel.

From the TractorData web page click on the "Tests" tab which will bring up the Nebraska test(s) for the particular tractor. On the test report they list what was actually measured for the the ballasted and un-ballasted weights and what tire configuration was used. The weights reported are fully "wet" and with an operator. Most of the reports also include a picture of the tested tractor which clarifies things like if it had a cab. For a 2WD TW-35 with dual 20.8-38 tires and a cab the un-ballasted weight was just over 16,000 per Test Report #1517. The 4WD version for Test #1537 weighed about 1000 lbs more.

I'm a firm believer in going directly to the official reports to glean data like this. As good as the TractorData website is there can still be questions on exactly what information is being presented since only a small portion of the test report data is shown.

Thanks a lot everyone. I now know that my 3 axle trailer is too little to haul it. It's gross weight is 18000 pounds.

My 25k gooseneck trailer weighs 7000 lbs empty. So i would be at 24k,,, nearly maxed out with a 17k tractor on it. And it really pulls harder when I get to that load area.
