I planted last fall Is finally taking off . After a super dry year we finally got some rain the end of October so I went ahead and drilled it . It?s finally taking off I think it?ll be ready to cut around the first week of July .

It was dry plowing but you can see the moisture in the soil from the rain

Yeah it was dry here last fall. Bet that was some tough plowin! I never saw clods that big in Indiana when I farmed there. Not even when I ran the dozer moving dirt. How hard will it be to mow?

This field has some white clay on it and it sets up like concrete but maybe a little harder . Colds and furrows left from the fall mellowed out quite a bit

It?s an annual crop. With all the rain we?ve had I think I?m going to plant this field again next fall rather than setting it aside a year

Friend put some in last fall, with all the rain here it's close to 5 feet tall, great stand. NE Nebraska
