International 1586 clutch pivot

The bracket above the clutch pivot on the 1586 broke. Looks to have been cracked for a while and let go sending the front end 3' in the air, not impressed. There is a large threaded hole into the bell housing
behind the clutch pivot, but there is only a 3/8 bolt on the pivot. It seems to me it would make more sense to pivot off of the big bolt on the bell housing than that 3/8 bolt on a thin bracket? Is there an
update of any kind for the pivot or do I just weld the bracket and hope for the best? Thanks for any help or information.

I took a few pictures, I just put in the bolt so I could move the tractor. It needs a larger bolt plus bushing. The other picture is the clutch pivot, it has a small hole on the back side, is something suppose to go from the 3/8 hole to the 5/8 ? hole in the casting?

The bracket that broke was an update. When the clutch linkage was anchored to the clutch housing the movement from the cab mounts would affect the clutch operation. It needs to use the bracket.
