Question for corn farmers

My son did not plant much corn this year. About 60 acres.
It did great until about 3 weeks ago when it turned very hot and dry. Leaves shriveled up every day.
It is 7 to 8 feet tall.
It is just to the stage to put out tassles and silk.
Now we are getting plenty of rain, maybe 4 inches in the next few days.
Will it make a halfway decent crop if we keep getting rain?
Thanks.

It should be fine. The most important time for rain for corn is from the stage it is in now (tassel & silk) until it fills out.

I agree with aFORDable, June rain good for corn and cotton. My dad used to say ?rain in June, whistle a tune?.
Corn is in tassle stage here in north central Texas and looking real good.
