Trattori ...

Better turn in your man card. If you were sitting in that tractor right now, you wouldn't care about the two center posts.

(quoted from post at 05:00:13 06/07/19) Wonder how much that accessory package costs ?

One of those things that if you have to ask how much, you already know the answer.

If the picture is in Europe, they cannot run duals like the USA as tractor is too wide. Limit is 3 meters, which is less than 10 feet. They went as wide as possible, for them.

I did a little fact checking on that I can draw as fancy of line on my picture but turns out the real world you can see dang near to the center of the tractor out the left window and you can see past where the left window visibility line is out the right window . We had three 4430 two 4850 a 4440 and a 4640 spent a lot of time running them I don?t know how you could not see 4000 acres or whatever foolish number that has been posted time and again ?

(quoted from post at 07:27:29 06/07/19) Why would they put those big wide tires on the front then have narrow skinny tires in back.

Duals give you four tires gripping the rims instead of two. Lots more inches of contact between tires and rims so likely less tire slip on the rims when pulling.

The difference being you HAVE to lean both right and left to eliminate the 75 acres easily hidden while sitting in a normal driving position. Case had eliminated everything from the hood by 1979 over a decade before Deere.

I think it's time for another new game, how many broke down jd's fit in a dealership service department. I'll start collecting pics today if you want to play that game. Of course you could all drop the picking on other brands thing, you know, to save yourself the embarrassment of a dozen pics of full service bays of busted green stuff. Your choice.

Its all in fun, I got a deere in the shop now, think the fuel if full of algae. I did help a neighbor when he was taking chemo disc with a 1570 and that thing had a lot of power but the A/C did not work! I was darn near stripped down to my undies as it was august and I was discing up behind the tomatoes pickers.

I never thought the 70 series were too bad because it's easy to keep the door open and the windows open a lot. The 9/1030 case with Cozy or Year Round can were bad because the rear cylinder and manifold were practically in the cab. Get in one of those working hard and you would stay plenty warm.

Wouldn't have any problem looking around those two at all, heck I might let them in the cab for a few rounds or ??

And we can post shops full of broke down red ones and white ones oh but the case never breaks down do they ? Finally tired fighting this losing battle with your oh you can?t see 75 acres oh that?s right case uses that invisible paint on their mufflers to bad they didn?t paint the whole thing

Is that the cab that case had that was so much better ? How many acres does that rear view mirror block ?

A shop full of John Deere tractors? It?s hard to have much comeback since case hasn?t built a tractor since 1988 and tennaco owned part of cos before that. I can find you several shops filled with cos and tennaco and cnh fiats though

Case had eliminated everything from the hood area by 1979, when did JD finally get around to that? By 1974 case had gotten rid of everything from the hood area except the "slim line" mufflers. JD was still hiding 75 acres in 1986 when case came out with the magnums and moved everything back to the side post which jd eventually copied. Don't think they did that til the 90s tho.

Excellent point, especially on new wheels and tires running low air pressures and high torque. Running a compact/sub-compact with the OEM R3 or 4
each rated at 1.5x the weight of the whole tractor at rated pressure, trying to get a ride that doesn't break your back, or keeping the tire on the rim with
fluid fills.........in addition to a variety of seats and spring ideas........If you guys like diversity in farm chores............utube has many from Europe and you
can see the reason for the narrow duals on the Fiat with that limitation.
