Have a Massey 165 that I currently have the top cover off of.
Long story short, PTO lever over-rotated the small shaft which attaches to the detent, which caused the Modulating Control Valve in the PTO to come too far out of its hole which caused an internal piece to slip out of place and not go back into position.
This, hopefully, has been rectified and the top cover is ready to go back on. As I was going through and double checking the tightness of fitting and nuts, I noticed that the PTO clutch disc brake seems ?loose?.
I am not sure how this is supposed to rest in place. Where it passes through the clutch mechanism it is held in place, but in its rotation around, the bottom has a fair amount of play front to back.
What I am talking about is the part highlighted in green on the parts diagram I attached.
The photo inside of my top cover: The control valve I speak of is circled in blue. And the disc I am talking about is circled in green.
Thanks in advance.
