under it 1843 can someone tell me if what
year it is thanks

Look to the left under research & info then serial number then Ford and then 600 and see where your number fits in the list. I'll tell you how to find the info but not do it for you

1954 production date but 1955 model year (serial number chart goes by production date, but the 600-series model years start at 1955). Below is a link to the YT serial number chart that Old refers to.

Thanks Andy this is all new to me old tractors I came across this one at a deal and got it to restore to give to my dad as a retirement gift

640 says it is a 4 speed tranny with transmission driven PTO, nothing live on the PTO. 650 would be just a 5 speed transmission and 660 a 5 speed with the live PTO.
