There is a Case 220 square baler on the Dubuque Ia Craigslist for you. Priced at $500 which seems reasonable. If it had a bale thrower on it I might have even considered it. I must be spending to much time around you and the Case man from NY.LOL Tom
 
I already have a 220, and a 200 baler. Plus I'm too poor to buy anything. But that is a decent price. I wouldn't mind one with a thrower too.
 
To each his own. I have had a real itch to collect 1970's IH implements for a while now. I met a couple almost 30 years ago that had an 8N along with just about every Dearborn implement available for it then. I got to see most of the stuff but a few things were in storage away from their main property. The equipment belonged to the man's father and as young as the son was there is a good chance that stuff is still there.
 
A neighbor sent a 550 to the scrapper a year ago. The spout got wrecked but the rest of it was in pretty good condition. I'm looking for a 61 wagon myself and a 40 blower which are more 1960's. But for the 1970's I would like a 475 disk, 45 field cultivator, and 540 spreader among other things.
 
Was the 550 a cut and throw or did it have a blower? I have a 300 case which is made by IH but has some case parts on it.

The 550 was cut and throw along with the older 50 and 55. The 650 was cut and blow. Looks like a 720 in the background. This neighborhood was heavy with IH choppers years ago with all the previously mentioned models present.
