C-141?

And after that C-5 gets loaded he can drop it off at the local grain storage depot. "If they have enough room" ;)

Ripely runs C-130?s in their training and growing up all to often it seemed as the farm was a landmark they used as a point in their run. (More likely the lake the farm was next to.) One day I was pulling the scraper with the 2-70 and I swore the old Waukesha dropped a valve. I shut it down and quickly realized the odd rumble was a 130 banking over the top of me at about 3-400 feet. I prayed a short hymn as the pilot grinningly waved to me and completed his turn. Then I drove back to the house for a wardrobe update.

C130 is a four engine turbo-prop.. Jumped out of them often. Saw my first C141 Starlifter at Ft. Bragg in 1965. Four jet engines.

We used the 141 for AD training and used C-130's in SEA in 67, 8, and 9. Both are quite the aircraft. The C-5A was commissioned on this date in 1970. And "Thank You! for your service!"
