Farmland cylinder

Acquired an old Farmhand loader cylinder
for a project. It leaks bad out of the
seals in the end. Are the seals available
still? Will this hold up to a 3010 hyd
pressure or do I need to find another
cylinder? Thanks

Take it to your local hydraulic or seal shop. They should be able to match up what you need. I've resealed several dump truck cylinders by taking the old seals, piston, and gland to seal shop and having them matched up. They seem to be pretty standard.

There is nothing there for pressure. Your cylinder must be a single acting, you need to go deeper than this and look at the piston seals on the ram. chris

Its a double acting cylinder. Oil ran through the wiper seal at the end. So it should be the seal in the middle of the end cap. Going to the hydraulic store today or tomorrow see what they have.
