Thanks for posting . I haven?t been able to plow for 2 weeks the rain hasn?t stopped we?ve gotten a tiny bit over 4 inches. Was still able to spray the other day and didn?t leave a single rut which tells you how dry it has been the ground is soaking it up like a sponge

I still do not get why you want to plow when it is so dry there.

You loose any cover moisture you have.

There is no other way on my ground because I do not have the tools to do it otherwise . Also we only do fall plowing on the non irrigated ground that the rough soil surface can ketch rain and snow . I?m going to make you proud this next year I am going to try using the lz1010 drills to do some minimum tillage and see what happens . Neighbor has planted no till corn two years in a row on different fields and had excellent results it does take a lot of chemical to do right but that?s not a deal breaker for me . The guy I do a lot of plowing for is organic certified has a website and everything 😂😂 he farms a little over 2000 acres and the only greenie weenie approved method to control weeds is iron and lots of it . He?s got a field of fall wheat that is 90% weeds all he can do is sit back and watch it go to waste . When I combined the crop last fall it was about 30 percent rag weed and morning glory .
