At least that?s what people around here call Chinese tallow trees.ripped out a bunch with my backhoe and want to burn them.anyone have experience burning them green?can?t bury them on this particular property

We call them china ball trees.
Never tried to burn spring cut trees.
I wait for the seeds to mature in fall; cut the tree down; and then wait for the leaves to turn brown and dry out before I burn them.

Tallow tree seeds have more diesel per acre than soybeans so while the fire starts slow once the seed starts burning it is like you dumped diesel on the fire.

Side note....
Just got back from Lafayette.
Boy that water is high in the basin and they have not even opened the spillway yet.

We had a couple of small Tallow trees in the yard when a kid, just north of Houston. Sure did like them...almost as much as the towering Pines. ...Don't guess they'd grow up here, eh?

It?s been high and will probably get higher.all that water and now a lot will be coming from Oklahoma and Arkansas
