My youngest (son) graduates high school tonight.

4.85 GPA, 4th out of 460 kids in class, good thing I married smart as father in law is retired nuclear physics professor.

He will start out as mid sophomore at Iowa State this fall in electrical engineering.

EE is a wonderful career. My old roommate is/was an EE, and he's pretty wealthy now, with many patents.

Congratulations to your son on his graduation and high GPA.

Good to hear that he was able to take dual credit courses while in high school.

You can be mighty proud. It is a reflection of you and his Mother. The good kids far outnumber the bad but we don't often hear about them.

Congratulations to your son - and to his parents! I told my boys one time that intelligence was inherited at which time they asked if they were adopted. Aparently being a smarta$$ is inherited as well.

David: I very happy for you and your son. It takes a lot of hard work to have those type of accomplishments. So your son has already proven he has what it takes to be successful in life. Working towards a goal will just about always turn out well as long as its a worthy goal.
