2 bottom plow question!

Will a 2 bottom plow that was used on a 1954 AC WD45 work on a Farmall Super A? The AC is not a 3 point hitch.

The Farmall has a drawbar hitch.

are you talking about a trailer plow one on two or three wheels or a 2pt snap hitch plow?

super A only has 13 hp one bottom trailer plow

Snap hitch. Had someone with the farmall that was wondering. I have the plow for sale.

Even if it could be adapted to the tractor, it will not pull it.

My dad tried that. With a regular A, not a super A. I think it was a 12" plow. It will pull it, but no, a Farmall A isn't strong enough for a 2 bottom plow.

The tractor can pull a one bottom plow, but I don't know how you'd mount the one in the picture. I used to plow my garden with an F-14 pulling a two bottom plow with one moldboard removed.

The plow in the pic is not for a WD45....it is a mounted plow for a Model B or C.

They had a one bottom plow for the A it worked just fine

Yes I know it won t. The guy that s looking for plows has a Farmall Super A. Was wondering if the single would work on it. Thanks!

No. In those days, mounting of implements wasn't standardized. The Ford/Ferguson 3 point hitch won out in the end, but back then, each brand had its own system. AC's had the Snap Coupler system, which is totally incompatible with the small farmalls. Look around for a plow designed for the A, because trying to adapt that AC plow would be far more trouble than its worth. And an A won't pull a 2 bottom anyhow.
