Posted on Saturday about the monitor acting up on my early JD 7000 6 row Planter. Received several good suggestion. Called Ag Express In Des Moines IA. this morning. The tech I spoke with said there is a light bulb inside the monitor to drop the voltage to 7.5-8 volts. He suggested cleaning that bulb, and its socket. The bulb is a #1141 it is a single filament bulb the size of an old taillight bulb. Cleaned that all up, and blew the dust off everything. Will see if that helped when it dries up (next week). The suggestions about the planter clutch disengaging were good and that was one of the first things I watched when this started happening. This planter has liquid fert so I can watch the squeeze pump to see if it stops. Thanks to all that shared your knowledge. Steve
