A Harrowing Video

Harrow packing actually. I went over to the "Macdonald Hills" farm to harrow a wheat field I had seeded earlier this week today. Sunny, windy and dusty. I don't think we hardly made 60 degrees today. Down near freezing at night. And drying up more every day. Some video of the scenery over at youtube.

Your weather is the complete opposite of mine. While you are very dry and would welcome a rain, we are soaked and can hardly get two days in a row that isn?t raining. Example, it rained Friday overnight, so wet Saturday. Got into a field Sunday, rained hard again Sunday night, mud again Monday.

I remember how frustrating it was to have too much rain and unable to get in the fields. I guess with our lack of rain and your excess rain, it all averages out to normal rainfall? :)
 
Which direction is that from your farm buildings? Is that implement anything like a rotary hoe? A few up close photos of the implement parts that contact the ground would help me understand it. Thanks.

Ron, that farm is about 8 miles West of me. About a 40 minute drive with the tractors.
Those are coil packers I'm pulling. Behind them are tine harrows. Hence the name, harrow packer bar. Its quite a bit heavier than just a tine harrow bar. Here is a photo of it in transport in the yard.
