Why Case tractors are better than jd

Was thinking today that I was
feeling left out because I
don't have a pic showing how
you can't see the center post
on my 1030 like all the green
guys have, so I went out to
get one. Here it is

cvphoto23650.jpg

See, just like a JD, you can't even tell it's there. Picture proof that a Case is every bit as good as a JD.

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! As I was having what I'm sure we're the same difficulties that the JD folks have with trying to get the camera, center post, muffler, and air intake all lined up in perfect harmony, I missed on several shots and got to the side. That's when it hit me how aweful it must have been in the olden days before digital cameras when you would shoot a whole roll of film, then have to take it to town to be developed, wait a week, only to find out you missed the mark by an inch and had to do it all again. Must have been a real troublesome thing.

But then it hit me, a case is not as good as a JD, it's even more better! Why? Because in all the faulty pics, not once, no matter how far to the side I got, did the center post show up. See?

Picture proof that Case is far superior to JD. They invented the totally invisible center post, not seen from any direction. AND! It's not just because it's not green either, which is how they hide it from the JD guys. Mother Deere knew that if they painted the post green the true JD guys would see nothing BUT the post, and would be running into barns, and power poles, and ditches and such, so they painted it black knowing that the real JD guys would never see it. A truely ingenious way to hide a design flaw, hidden in plain view.

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! After my truely eye opening experience with the 1030, I got to wondering, was there even more? And YES, there is
. The 400 has the invisible post too!

As does the DC!

I feel for the folks with those sound guard cabs that can only sit in one very specific position all day so they can have a decent view. Must be hard on backs and such, what with either not being able to move or not being able to see. Tough choice to make.

But here you have it, actual pictures proving that case is the better tractor. Unless someone with a sound guard cab wants to post a pic taken off to the side to prove me wrong. LOL!

Actually, did you set it up that way so you can park it in a low ceiling shed? Looks like a pretty nice job. Not junky looking. What might be even more fun looking. Take a look at the tapered mufflers that go on Ford model "A" cars from 1928-31. They make a very distinct sound. Way cool.

Gosh, my Kubota doesn?t have a centre post either, bu you can see the exhaust pipe on the extreme right, but it is generally out of view because of the cab corner.

Cameras with film, I don?t even have a camera. Just take a picture with my phone, and post it from my phone to YESTERDAY Tractors. That?s another kind of post , but not a centre post !

Well, chocolate chip cookies can make a lot of bad things better. Not sure it's enough to compensate for the center post tho. Likely be fine as long as the supply held out.

Fred 2----You don't realize the the center post issue has been a running joke here on YT for quite some time. Sit back and have another barley pop and enjoy.
I don't have a center post either, but have to look around a large muffler

Politics are against the rules, posting about tractors and their fine qualities is not.

No post in this picture, or muffler. I'm not sure what that is in the upper left.

I wish I had something clever to say but nothing. Ha, Ha.

My hat's off to you Case guys, ACG is a detailist extraordinaire, and Jon, you a poet.

Lol, long as you don't need to turn left your fine! Nothing wrong with that. Lol. And thanks for the compliment. Been a long wet weekend, still raining here with over 3" so far. Sure am glad I'm done.

I bought that tractor about a month ago and is near as I can tell that is a factory set up. I looked in the parts book and all those parts are available. I couldn?t stand the look so I bought an exhaust pipe and upright muffler for it.

There is another problem but easily cured, the problem looking around the center post is cured having used soundgard body cabs, when you retire and sell the Deere just put all the money that you get for you Deere in your right rear pocket and it straightens you back right out. Instead of getting nothing for your CASE. :)

Freddie ..... "So sad" .... you've been following Donald's tweets too much, he's brainwashed you .... ha !!!

See, all the really great tractors don't have a center post. That tractor has a great view and would be easy to see from, almost as good as a Case.

No center post and no broken plow spindle either must be that dang high cost of ownership again 😂😂 .
cvphoto23681.jpg

Awwww. Why not leave it that way? Interesting difference on a tractor. No busting off a muffler with tree limbs.

HMMMMM I [b:eb8e54630e]C[/b:eb8e54630e]an [b:eb8e54630e]A[/b:eb8e54630e]fford [b:eb8e54630e]S[/b:eb8e54630e]omething [b:eb8e54630e]E[/b:eb8e54630e]lse so I'll just pass on my sympathy to those who are stuck buying em......

Hmm 🤔 one bad bearing in 52 years and one broken 3 point part in 53 years do to a big piece of concrete curb I couldn?t see you?re right John Deere is junk may as well throw in the towel . Sure Is funny when a case breaks its still the best tractor ever made isn?t it ? Didn?t you spend all winter fixing machinery that should have went to the junk yard ? meanwhile our John Deere?s have been on the job time last 50 years .

This from a guy who spent all winter fixing case
equipment in such bad shape even the scrap yard
wouldn?t take it 😂😂

Jon you insulting my deere g with the twin side by side stacks? My moline r is vision lined and has next to nothing above the hood.

You are absolutely correct,
accuracy is very important.
And everyone knows of my
propensity to colorize a good
story, so I appreciate you
keeping me on the straight and
narrow. So now and forever
more, the post will be
referred to as the somewhat
off center post. Thank you for
keeping me honest, and expect
the same from me in the
future.

That's a wildly inaccurate statement and blatantly untrue. We are now required to be accurate in our statements and saying that puts you in the wrong. Please stop doing that. The scrap yards will in fact take all the case AND JD tractors they can get. No more false or exaggerated claims please.

I welcome anyone including YOU to correct my mistakes because I think information of discussion forums should be correct which evidently you don't so if you choose to correct my mistakes "just knock yourself out".
