There have been very few issues with YT parts. I am proud to recommend them when people look for parts. Both in the forums, and when walking around in the real world. The owners and staff have done a great job in sourcing quality, and getting it to customers. I imagine posts like yours make them happy. Jim

I too have bought a LOT from Yesterday's Tractor...NO Negative issues at all. Great Shipping! Very Accommodating. Dsmythe

I just sent in an order for new shock, seat spring for Farmall c, and mag parts. I've had good luck in past. 2 thumbs up to YT. Glad they exist.

Will agree, have ordered parts (including engine overhaul kits) in the past and have been very satisfied with both service and the quality, and will continue to whenever the need arouses!!! The forums are the best I?ve found and first thing I read in the mornings, very informative, and the people in them are some of the best!!!! THANK YOU ALL

I have always bought from YT and only once had a problem and it very well may have been my own fault. I ordered a points set and thought I ordered the better set that included Blue Streak points but I may have clicked on the wrong one, I will never know but am giving YT the benefit of the doubt that I messed up. The points I received wouldn't open up to .015 and weren't even straight even after filing the screw slot. An old set out of my stash worked great.

They're just being stubborn. It's just as easy for them to ship to Canada as it is to ship across town. Outfits like Rock Auto seems to be able to manage it (and manage it well) and they sell a lot more parts than the YT people. It is the 21st century after all.

I will bet it has something to do with the exchange rate and payment delay. The exchange rate might change between the time the order was made and when the Canadian money finally is deposited in the bank YT uses. The wait can be three weeks or more. I suspect the Canadian funds goes from a Canadian bank to a US bank, then out to YT and you and I both know each bank gets a cut out of the money.

Not always the case.
This Canadian would pay with a US Mastercard which pays the seller in American dollars. The exchange rate has been looked after by me when and how I pay my Mastercard bill.

Their $12 shipping rate is a little steep. I imagine they lose a lot of business on small parts because they are so stubborn with shipping rates. Nothing like paying $12 to ship a $1 gasket or something like that. They absolutely would not budge on the phone. Their parts have always fit but I consider this practice a bit on the dishonest side.

That $1 part has to be "picked", walked to "shipping", packaged ,weighed, labeled, placed in the right area for the right shipper, (UPS,USPS,FEDEX,or?). All this at at least a minimun wage, so I can see their point. I always try to order parts that I will need to fill the order to help with the shipping. Also if I am getting up an order I will call a friend and ask if he needs anything, can help with the shipping cost. joe

Fixerupper ..... I'm not into banking nor electronic payment details but I suspect that a transaction with a card (Canadian
buyer/USA supplier) takes about as much time as it takes for the electrons to move from one place to the other, in other
words instantly. This would include the exchange rate at the instant the purchase is approved. Why would it be any
different than a purchase within your own borders? The exchange rate is built into the system I'm guessing. Nobody waits
around for paper to move through the mail anymore and I suspect it would all be handled by computers, etc.
