Helping a neighbor purchase a tractor.
He is looking at a Massey Ferguson 65.
IT is in good shape runs good and has a loader.
Anyone have any thoughts on those. The little
research I did says this year, 1958 was the first
made in England. Would appreciate any comments.
Thanks.

They are a middle production in a series of fine tractors. If as described, and buyre and seller are Ok with the price buy it. Jim

Great tractor, love mine.

It used to have a loader also. I wore through the pivot bushing on the front end. The bushing is very thin walled. I welded up the hole in the casting and re-bored it to accept a stock bushing. Then sold the loader.

Might want to check that front bushing.

Have had a 65 diesel for 17 years. First diesel tractor and I love it. I also wore out the front pivot bushing but I no big deal to repair. Get a 700 cca battery for it.
