Using Weedar 64 with Induce on hay. Anyone else used Weedar? Results?

We used Weedar64 in the orchard for herbicide strips with Poast and had real good results. About the only broadleaf left behind was dandelions of all things. Knocked'em back but didn't kill about 40% of them.

I had been using Weed Master. Due flooding from hurricane Harvey I've had a lot of sedge wash in. Been fighting it for two years now.

I spray dandilions hard with a round-up equivalent in the fall. Only way I have found to get a good kill rate on those.

We lost almost all hay (baled and fields) during hurricane Harvey. I lost almost 400 rolls and still to this day don't know where they floated off too. Then last year it started raining in June and never stopped. I actually baled a jigs field the week after Thanksgiving!

Hay prices more than doubled. 4x5 round bales of Bahia that sold in June for $ 35.00 were selling for $120 by November.
Jigs went from $40-50 to $ 150.

Hoping for a good year this year. Demand is there, hopefully the grass will be too!

That?s just a brand name on a 2,4D isn?t it? Burns broadleaves back, but doesn?t do much on deep rooted plants. Often enough to get the grass to fill in and take off and crowd the weeds tho.

There are ester and amine formulations of 2,4-D. Weedar is an amine formulation. Check out this for more information: https://extension.psu.edu/amines-or-esters-which-should-you-use
