Did I hear that right?

probably. ihave 80 acres planted, it went in before the last flood a couple weeks ago. it was getting dry enough again to maybe plant friday (today) but yesterday afternoon we had a gully washer come thu and got .7 tenths of an inch. and now uts been raining steady since about 9 pm. we are under a severe storm warning till one am. high winds and hail up to 2 inches. they advised bring all live stock in to shelter. sheesh.

I got hit yesterday evening, .8 inches of rain and some nice hail. We got about 90 acres in so far and my guess is 10% planted around me with none on the clay just south of me.(southern IN)

From Ontario Canada
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. WE remember the opposite of rain from the 1930 s, the dust bowl conditions how it drove many from our western farms. this situation is just as bad for you. Some of our Ontario farmers are not on the land here yet some are.

Marv was up here Wednesday morning from Illinois. He said he didn't have a seed in the ground yet. Said he'd already traded his 114 day corn back in.

This is a few days old, but a planting progress chart.

If pictures work for me today, if there?s nothing here then sorry.

With in the last week I think I heard on the radio that Illinois had about a third planted and normally would have two thirds in by now. Up here at the top of Ill. the guys were really going earlier this week then rained out yesterday for what sounds like into next week.

I am in Illinois and with all the rain just because it is planted does not mean some of it will be a viable stand which holds for any of the other states as well.

About the same in Ohio until yesterday but then we got 3 inches of rain on what they got planted
